I'm finally home, after visiting NOLA for the last week...
the trip was definitely something I needed...
had a great time, and got to finally confront some personal demons I left behind me so many years ago.
It's funny, how things are never quite the way you think they are, or remember them to be...
for better, or for worse...
or maybe it's just that things are in such a constant flux of change, we neglect to notices sometimes.
All in all, it was a strange trip...
but a mostly pleasant one...
and I feel pretty renewed after it all. |
